Sandy’s Aesthetics profession began at the D’Arrigone
Academy of Beauty Arts and Sciences in Baltimore,
Maryland in 1966. About Aesthetics, LLC opened in 1992
in Montgomery, Alabama and grew to a full service Day Spa doing
a full range of facials, electrolysis, permanent cosmetics and body treatments.

Her early career in the cosmetology industry was in private salons in the Baltimore
area. In 1970, she was employed by Seligman & Latz Inc. of New York and promoted into management of Salons while serving her clientele. Sandy has held managing cosmetology licenses in Wisconsin, Minnesota and now has a Master of Cosmetology in Alabama.

Sandy graduated from the Advanced School of Electrolysis and Permanent Cosmetics, later received the National Commission for Electrologist Certification (N.C.E.C.), and then tested for and became a member of the Society of Clinical and Medical Electrologists (S.C.M.E.).

Sandy was a charter member of the Alabama Professional Electrologists Association where she served as Vice President in 1996 and President in 1997.
Sandy has been a speaker and trainer for the Premier Pigments Symposium in Dallas, Texas and is an instructor in the art of permanent cosmetics.

Sandy is also been a member of the American Business Women of America.
In April 2009, Sandy was a judge in the Skills USA (tm) Aesthetics Competition for Alabama Department of Education Technical Systems Education Unit.
